Born in Milan, I started to get passionate about photography in high school by attending a course on film photography and development in the darkroom. In the following years, I cultivated photography as a hobby, experimenting a little with all photographic genres: from reportage to street photography, from food to marriage. In 2013, as a result of lucky encounters with wild animals blossoms in me a pure and unconditional love for nature and an ever stronger desire to immortalize it. So I start following workshops and photographic trips with great masters of the genre. To date I can count with satisfaction several awards and admissions in national and international competitions, exhibitions in art galleries and publications in magazines. I recently moved to Trentino driven by a love of nature and I organize private lessons in naturalistic photography in Alpe Cimbra. I love to retreat and immerse myself away from the chaos and stress of the city and share with others the emotions I feel when I come across a wild animal or a breathtaking landscape.
THE MAGIC OF SVALBARD ISLANDS
I started undertaking photographic trips abroad in 2016 choosing the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland as a destination. I then visited Finland in search of the European brown bear and soon after Camargue for pink flamingos. The most beautiful and extreme journey lived so far took place in April 2019 thanks to the “Grandi viaggi fotografici” Agency. It was a real adventure among the glaciers of the Arctic in the company of a group composed of 4 other photographers plus an expert guide. Each one riding their own snowmobile walked several kilometers every day to be able to spot as many wild animals as possible. The main target was the polar bear but alas we only saw its footprints. However, the encounters and emotions were not lacking and between breathtaking lights and landscapes I could fill up with beauty and admire live one of my favorite animals, the Arctic fox.
