Samuele Parentella was born in Carate B.za, on 23.10.1983 and since he was a child he developed a certain predisposition for the art of photography; initially participating in lectures given by a middle school teacher where he learned the first technical rudiments with film machines of the time and the development of the negative in the darkroom.
The love for photography then remains drowsy for a few years, although still accompanied by compact cameras, first film and then digital, to arrive at the first DSLR, a NIKON D90 in 2008. With the purchase of this machine “snaps” something, the desire to learn increases and first as a self-taught, then participating in a photography course, he learns more and more awareness of the photographic medium. This is how an unbridled passion for naturalistic photography blossoms. He attended several photo workshops, carried out several outings with much more experienced photographers, spent hours and hours in the cold, the heat, the humidity, in the company of mosquitoes and some friends as well as some photographic trips. All this, to capture those unique moments that only nature can give. In recent years, he has approached the world of macrophotography and landscape, obtaining discreet results and has developed more the artistic side of photography, going more and more in search of somewhat unusual and out of the choir shots. He has participated in many photographic competitions, managing to obtain some worthy results including some first prizes and several admissions to the final stages (e.g. GLANZLICHTER, NATURE IN PHOTO, APPENNINO PHOTOCONTEST, GRAN PARADISO FILM FESTIVAL, NORD OVEST NATURAE, ASFERICO, OASIS FOTO CONTEST, OBIETTIVO TERRA 2020, MONTPHOTOCONTEST 2020..). In addition to the photographic competitions he has published several photos and articles in some Italian magazines including: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC ITALIA, LA RIVISTA DELLA NATURA, FOTOGRAFIA REFLEX, DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER ITALIA, as well as books and online reference sites for naturalistic photography.

MOMENTS OF NATURE
In a society like ours, in which the rhythm of our lives is marked by the clock, everything quickly escapes under our gaze. But if we stop for a few moments to observe what surrounds us, it is possible to see many other realities for which the rhythm of life proceeds differently, in full harmony with the environment in which they live. This project was born with the intention of accompanying the viewer on a hypothetical journey into nature through photography, the only means able to stop time and freeze forever those unique and unrepeatable moments that being caught up in the daily frenzy we get lost.
